Beeley, Crowther, Gillespie & Titchiner

Fleetwood Town have released Shaun Beeley, Ryan Crowther, Steven Gillespie and Alex Titchiner.

Full back Beeley has made 207 appearances for the club since joining in November 2007, scoring three goals.  He was a member of the squad who won promotion to the Conference North, Conference National and Football League Two. In November 2011 Beeley played for England 'C' against Gibraltar.  The 25 year-old has not represented Town this season but has had a successful loan spell at League Two Bury.

Crowther has had limited opportunities since moving from Hyde in November 2011. The 25 year-old winger has had 15 starts and a further 15 appearances off the bench, scoring two goals.

Twenty-eight year old Gillespie signed from Colchester in June 2012. The striker has scored four goals from 10 starts with 15 appearances as substitute.

Titchiner made his debut for Town in September 2012 after signing from Witton Albion.  There have been two further starts and 7 more appearances from the bench.  The 22 year-old striker has had loan spells at FC Halifax Town and Chester.

The club wishes all four players best wishes for the future and manager Graham Alexander also thanked each player.

“This is just a part of football and each club has a turnover of players. All four are good lads and I’m sure they’ll each find a club and continue their respective careers. Shaun, in particular, has been at the club a long time and enjoyed success. We genuinely wish them all the best.”
